Water consumption in the Federal Republic of Germany has been declining for years. People are saving, e.g., for environmental protection or cost reasons.

This is particularly noticeable in sparsely populated rural regions, where at times hardly any wastewater flows through the pipelines. OEKERMANN pumping stations can be an excellent solution here: Even during periods of low wastewater, wet wipes, cleaning rags, hygiene products, and solids of various kinds are easily transported by the systems. The post-blowing process regularly and powerfully cleans the pressure pipes and empties them to a large extent. Odor nuisances do not occur, not even in the pumping station area; there, the wastewater is always pumped out in a timely and complete manner.

Recently, sewage treatment plant operators from Saxony reported, for example, how they operate their pressure pipe network reliably and with low maintenance effort using OEKERMANN pumping stations. Especially in times of frequent staff shortages in the skilled labor sector, such smoothly functioning systems are an important component.
