Simple Setup of Interconnected Networks of Multiple Pneumatic Wastewater Pumping Stations
Interconnected systems of multiple pumping stations can be easily implemented with OEKERMANN systems because the installations can operate against various pressures through the use of compressors.
Depending on whether and how many systems in a network are operating at partial or full load, very different pressures can result in the individual stations due to varying friction losses.
For example, a main pressure line can connect a single property, a group of houses, or an entire village.
The individual pneumatic wastewater conveying systems are not interlocked against each other and operate solely based on the incoming wastewater volume at each station. This results in high operational reliability and a cost-effective overall system.
With appropriate advance planning, interconnected systems can be flexibly expanded with OEKERMANN systems in the future if needed.
