Pneumatic Pumping Stations with 3 or 4 Compressors

Triple or quadruple systems are typically used for combined wastewater pumping stations, large communities, and large industrial facilities.

Distributing the system’s capacity across 3 or 4 working air compressors results in higher redundancy; more importantly, these large wastewater volumes can be handled particularly economically, as the systems can adapt more flexibly to wastewater inflow.

Triple systems can be equipped with 2 or 3 working tanks, which are alternately filled and emptied just like in dual systems.

Quadruple systems are usually equipped with 3 working tanks.

Due to space constraints, triple and quadruple systems are usually installed on at least 2 levels, although this is not necessarily a requirement. The decisive factor for installation is the depth of the incoming gravity sewer, which equally applies to other system models.

With appropriate pre-planning, OEKERMANN systems are also expandable; i.e., in an initial stage of expansion, space can be reserved for an additional compressor and/or working tank. The decisive factor is the specific project: Please send us your planning documents for a concrete requirement; we will be happy to develop non-binding proposals for you.
