In addition to the main reason for using pneumatic conveying technology, namely the prevention of odor nuisance<\/a> and corrosion, there are a number of other advantages to OEKERMANN systems.<\/p>\n

An important point is the extraordinary resistance of the systems to solids<\/a>, foreign objects of all kinds that are typically found in wastewater.<\/p>\n

The wastewater disposal from highway PWC rest areas<\/a> is a common application: Surprisingly, there are hardly any disruptions here, even though all kinds of waste is thrown away and ends up in the wastewater systems, especially in such facilities.<\/p>\n

Over 40 such rest areas are already being serviced with OEKERMANN systems<\/a> to the complete satisfaction of the operators. Most recently, in 2015, several pumping stations were put into operation in Hesse, and in 2020, multiple systems were installed in North Rhine-Westphalia. Further projects are in progress.
