Our company has a long history. It was founded in 1977 under the name ‘Oekermann Niemann KG’. In 1985, it became ‘Oekermann KG’ and finally in 2005, the current ‘Oekermann GmbH Co. KG’. <\/p>\n

The adventure began on April 1, 1977. Quite literally, our company started in the basement and garage. Initially as a small operation, where the founders assembled the first systems themselves. Soon after, the first technician was hired, followed by a second in 1981. <\/p>\n

The business developed well, so that over the years we first rented various warehouses and workshops until we were able to move into our own facility in Bielefeld-Altenhagen (near the Ostwestfalen-Lippe motorway entrance to the BAB A2) in 1993.<\/p>\n

As in many other cases of new business startups, there were not only successes, especially in the early years. But we always strived to eliminate technical errors, learn from them, and continuously improve the systems. <\/p>\n

Today, we look back gratefully on the past 45+ years and successfully built systems, and would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all business partners, customers, and suppliers, especially to those who were willing to implement a completely new technology in the market during the founding years.<\/p>\n

To this day, we focus on the production of pneumatic wastewater pumping systems<\/a> and are therefore specialists in this particular sector of wastewater technology.<\/p>\n

Many of the first systems delivered still exist today, some with general overhauls having been carried out in the meantime.<\/p>\n
