\nDuring trips to individual pumping stations, one gets to know the country and its people. This is another reason, besides the interesting and diverse technology, to pursue the profession of a traveling technician. <\/p>\n

As a result, some of the Bielefeld OEKERMANN technicians have now become quite proficient in the Bavarian language, at least partially, and enjoy regional specialties with pleasure when staying at a rustic country inn. Particularly popular dishes include cheese spaetzle, roast pork with dumplings, and lumberjack steak. This is a nice change from East Westphalian cuisine, although it also has some tasty offerings. <\/p>\n

Since OEKERMANN wastewater pumping stations are often located in small villages, the technicians are often asked with interest in the local pub in the evening about what they are doing there – or residents come directly to the pumping station during the day to inquire.<\/p>\n

Cultural activities need not be neglected either. In the evening, there is often an opportunity to get to know local sights. <\/p>\n
